I dunno like is somewhere else but ehre in Slovakia and in our neighbours country everythign which havent limited time of use I.E. food for example have 2 years of warranty if the manufacturer did not state something else.
For example Waschmaschines by samsung have also 2 years of warranty but you have a 10 years of warranty for engine.
Or Kia cars have 7 years of warranty.
And as i said before bootloader should be removed i mean option to void warranty and instal custom rom whether you are experienced or not unexpected miracle can always happens and your phone dies.

And yes I understand that. Some people are definitely not ready to fiddle with bootloaders and junk so they'll end up bricking their device. They just hear something "get Pie on S5 or something", they get all excited and then they make a mistake.

It is tru Huawei can be a little misleading like when they claimed that Kirin would beat Bionic A12 or them not mentioning that Video recording wasn't on par with picture quality on previous flagships, but that's far from making Huawei previous flagships not worth it. Huawei flagships can perform well and they are more durable than a lot of phones released.

You claim that they have ties with CCP, but with that logic literally ALL Chinese companies are tied with them because of the Chinese law which allows companies based in China to help them out in whatever the way possible in a state of national emergency. Their network equipments are the one which are criticised for backdoors and national security thingy(although they haven't been proven), not their PHONES.

The Y line and the P-Smart lines most likely will be put on hiatus. and in case you haven't noticed, Honor hasn't made any noise since the Honor 9x came out.

Don't come in here stating stuff as facts when not even the USA government has been able to provide proof of it. You'd save some face if you just plainly admitted you hate them because they are Chinese and they are catching up to Apple/Samsung.

I would buy the Mate 30 Pro with or without Google Apps, but only when it'll cost less that 600€. Other than the exaggerated price the phone seems great.
