Owning your own device should be allowed. In fact, locking the bootloader should be illegal. It's your device. You paid. You do what you want with it.

They are right because they know that a phone can achieve its popularity only through its camera performance. If camera performances are good then phone will be popular it’s a simple math.

Anonymous, 21 Sep 2019But you also get less. . I mean a 1080p panel on a mate fla... moreMan even a bloke responsible for radar at largest public airport on the earth wont see a difference between FHD, FHD+, 2K or 4k on a 6 inch screen.
So paying extra money for something you know you have there but you cant see is meaningless.
Its same like making a diet water because the plain one from sinka t your home have too much calories in it-
Or giving a laser sight to a slinger. Or giving a 1 inch long handrail to a 1km long stairs.
                        And many else examples.
Even on 50 inch TV you wont spot differences between 2k and 4k. Unless you ahve a TV of size of proper cinema its complete useless. Like 8K screen made by LG.
Theses FHD+ and above screens up to 4K are good only for one thing known as much faster battery drain.
Its same like giving a 5W charger in the box with a 1500 euros Iphone.
Waiting eons to charge 4000 mAh battery is complete pointless.

Anonymous, 21 Sep 2019I've paid for my phone, don't "prohibit" me from using my p... moreWell then i can only wish this feature were never invented.
And the person which was responsible for this burns in hell.
And in any other case if you want unlocked bootloader why you dont make own device or phone from scratch.
                            Is not that hard.
Voiding warranty and instaling custom rom should be always prohibited becasue many people uses guindance from youtube or something like that and then when they do it wrong they comes for warranty claims because they were trying to be very clever even when they was very clumsy.

Abhi-Darth-Plagueis, 21 Sep 2019How is that 'fail' on 'every device' ? Please enlighten me.... moreIt is a fail in case of bloatware we have android one phones such as xiaomi A3 or Motorola, Nokia devices or Oneplus devices with cyanogen.
Anything else contains more or less bloatware but its on every user what he buys.
But as i said before voiding warranty and instaling custom rom as you said or another kind of custom bloatware should be always impossible.
This way i am very hapy most of the brands dont have this option.
Many mostly clumsy people doing this just to kill their device because they think that guide from youtube is enough.
                              Saw that happens.

Now they are trying to rip off their own people. The reason why they increase the price so high because they know that it will not be popular in Europe and Asia w/o google, that's the fact. It will be popular in china because of their advertisement and with the help of their government. People who will buy this phone outside china would be either those stupid or die-hard fanboys who doesn't know what will come to them once they have the device. Kodus to you Huawei for becoming the next apple.

My prediction will be way less sales than they are expecting (in the West)
