So in other words it still activates on its own automatically? Lovely.
And they wouldn't have had such weak aging batteries if apple hadnt purposely used low capacity ones that inevitably degraded worse for already being such lower capacities.
Use low capacity batteries, low base storage, and low ram. Then the updates of the os and apps use more cpu power, storage, and ram. Then updates slowed the cpu as memory and ram filled while the already dramatically lower than average capacity batteries degrade.
Leading to many repaires and upgrades.

But no... that's just being hater... not simply pointing out factual logic.....

Hello Life, 21 Sep 2019how can be a 1 year battery be aging and dying..?You never heard of natural battery degradation even on Android phones. In fact any device using lithium ion batteries will suffer reduced capacity up to 20% in the long run. Long run is not easily defined especially with devices used all day every day.

Other than knowing it has happened before, there's no way to know it will happen also with the iOS 13.1; so why jumping the gun and printing that already is beyond me.
A serious article would wait until after the facts with proofs, so print your brand new speed tests about the concerned phones and then re-do them after you've installed the update; that will be useful to all but right now it's just fueling Apple-haters.
