are you 9 year old?
this is a mainstream model not a gamer model. why compare 1 item if you don't have a clue why they have it.
games need more power than anything else so for a game phone having 6000mAh is what it is needed, and ROG phone have a huge 120Hz display so it will consume much more energy. did i mention that rog weights 240g?
mi 9 pro having 4000mAh with such high efficient chipset that is SD855+ and not that huge screen, yes..it's a huge battery. If you need more than this per day, you need to get a life.....or a power bank if you gave up on having one. Mine have 3000mAh and my phone battery last me 2 days...after 2 years. with a much lower energy saving chipset (SD835).
grow up please.

Anonymous, 24 Sep 2019Asus RoG 2 is much better. At twice the price it really should be, but is it? Not overall. Overall, the Xiaomi is better for the mainstream user which incidentally is the demographic the Mi 9 pro is aiming for.
Better cameras, faster charging, both wired and wireless, outweighs higher refresh rate and bigger battery (meaning bigger device and it's a "very heavy" phone). ROG II is for very dedicated phone gamers, yet it offers the same chipset as any other SD855+ device. And the extras of the ROG II, well they cost extra as well.
A high end device like the ROG II doesn't even offer 5G, whereas there will be a 5G version of the Mi 9 Pro. So what would you rather game on? A crowded 4G network with iffy ping, or a 5G network with no "gridlocks" and superb ping?
5G isn't everywhere yet, but at my location, after some delay, it's about three months away - give or take. hence I didn't wait for the 5G version of Mi Mix 3, but got the standard version instead, but that's a generation ago already and the ROG II is still stuck there.

YUKI93, 24 Sep 2019Unlike iOS or Windows Phone, Android relies on Java and Jav... moreAnd a super fugly skin like MIUI must eat up a ton of resources even before you run a single app lol.

Blablabla, 24 Sep 2019Only 4000mah of battery capacity & their called it big ... moreUmm, just letting you know because I considered buying ROG Phone II but stopped after after finding out on research that ROG Phone I barely got any software support. (It's still running Android 8.1 even!)
You might not want to get into that mess since several ROG Phone features like the triggers and stuff are extremely difficult to get working using custom ROMs.

golemka, 24 Sep 2019So 0 innovation just a newer soc xDBro what are you talking about, they’ve upgrade the battery by 700mah they upgraded from the SD855 to the 855+ which is the only chip that has a frequency higher than 2.95GH. It has 45watt charger in the box at other companies you would need to buy an extra shitty 18watt charger, right now apple fans are preaching the fact that there’s an 18watt charger in the box and this has 45 watt charger “In the BOX”. It also has 30 watt wireless charging which is the fastest wireless charging on any phone. And don’t forget that 10watt reverse wireless which is also the fastest ever. So what do you mean no innovation
