Even the dual display phones are better, more usefuland less fragile than this. The only real edge of this is the 108mp camera.

The mix series was always v... moreIf you refer to mix alpha as mix 4!then using rear cameras as front cameras was already used by oppo way back with its oppo n1 (not aure about model name, but it's the rotatable camera phone) then there's nubia x, vivo nex dual display, then nubia z20

This is beyond stupid in terms of design. Even at "180" percent, this thing is too big, too expensive, too fragile, etc. I didn't realize Xiaomi was interested in defeating Royole for dumbest phone on the market.

The mix series was always very innovative.
Mi mix was the first bezeless phone outside Japan (before the whole slew of bezeless phones came out)
Mix 3 (I think) was the first or maybe one of the first to hide the front camera
Mix 4 completely eliminates it by a first used design.

This is better than the Galaxy Fold. People want smaller phones. Not giant unfolded ones with a ridiculously small 4-inch display when folded.

lolme, 25 Sep 2019implementing such a thing would be utterly foolish and decl... morebasically you are correct. thou, what's the logic in having, practically, two screens? one application was to have a display for using the normal camera for selfies, but more than this... two images to look at, alternatively, by flipping the phone? at what price? it is more practical to use some kind of a physical or virtual button to alternate the images on the same screen. sorry, I see no real use in having, again, two screens on the same device

geekacontra, 25 Sep 2019and i'm supposed to read information on the edges and to tu... moreimplementing such a thing would be utterly foolish and declared death on arrival. even though the screen wraps around, it doesnt mean that the whole of it will be utilised at the same time to show a certain app or window. its got various sensors to figure out what side is being used. as an example, go have a look on how the prototype of the mate X behaves as the user folds it and use the different sides. i would presume the same principles applies here.
