24 September 2019
The process involves every component of the Kirin 990 chipset - ISP, CPU, GPU and NPU.

And recording sound at this high speed would only just sound like a blurrr?

I mean other androids will follow suit and probably improve, but gimmick or not it's still kind of cool.

Hence my comment about it becoming sharp when re-sizing the playback window to 50% (640x360), where it is sharp.

abigfanoftechs, 25 Sep 2019Stop watching videos on your iPhones if you don't want grai... moreI'm not watching this on any tiny handheld. I'm watching this on a proper screen than can resize the picture according to it's native resolution. The native resolution of the video file is 1280x720 and it's not sharp at all. Resize to a smaller portion of the screen to about half the resolution though (640x360) and it's sharp. So I'm guessing this is really shot at 640x360 and upscaled to to 1280x720. Either that or the bitrate is much too low, which again makes for the very low quality in its "native" resolution.

The name of the exec explaining this feature is Bruce Lee. There's no one more appropriately-named: he probably knows the feature best as he must have tested it extensively to see how well it captures his lightning kung fu moves... XD (yes, I'm that old.)

Impressive video, but I'll definitely wait for legit hands-on review to see how slow 7,680 fps is. For now, I'm not buying in.

Mmm, this means 1/7680 ss is the longest shutter speed in this mode, i am wondering how is the video quality would be especially in lowlight.

Phones have Flagship and one is call Mainstream. I agree with the fact that only few can understand why this kind of feature is put into implementation. However, Huawei just make its flagships justify its category because even the dictionary didn't even have the term to call a thing possessing this type of extra ordinary brilliance of sophistication. Huawei is a Paragon of Intelligence exhibiting human is still smarter than computers and computers are only slaves of the human brains.
