Planning to replace my current Nokia 710 windows phone with Nokia 603 symbian belle. Windows phone is good but symbian is more efficient and does all the work.

AnonD-44737, 05 Mar 2012dont confused. when 808 release it will be tha best camera.... moreYep, this. PureView isn't the camera module, it's the whole slew of tech that goes into making the images "pure". Same tech but with 20MP sensor could be smaller and more efficient - although not as effective - so it will fit in a sleek Lumia unibody.

Maybe they're waiting for WP8 (apollo) when the OS is to support various processors and allow manufactrures to chose whatever hardwear they want

the OS have everything todo with it.

this phone HAVE custom chip that procceses all the pictures and 1080p video..

somethng they could only do cuz they had access to kernel and added support.

THIS technology won't reach windows phone until microsoft adds support to it-

UNLIKE the linux kernel nokia is NOT ALLOW to windows phone kernel.

reason why nokia main plan used to be a LINUX phone, until microsoft inserted the troyan horse.

for this technology to happen on windows phone they have "sell" "give" it to microsoft

Waiting for a DUAL BOOT Nokia 808 PureView Nokia Belle+MS WP7.5. Since they are "abandoning" Symbian, might as well bundle it for free as a dual boot option to WP7.5, no?

Anonymous, 05 Mar 2012As previously stated, to which many did not believe, Nokia ... morePossibly, but most definitely not the feature phone market share where its feature phones go for double the price of android feature phones. case and point, lumia 610, versus zte cresent and blade.
Wanted a lumia then saw the price n determined crescent would be the best for me.
Many others in the third world and countries like India might think the same.

I will definitely buy 808, but not sure w... moredont confused. when 808 release it will be tha best camera. they use technology and produce some low end smart phn like 8mp or 12 mp sensor. they use wht do a 808 phn like no resolution loss by zooming etc. and also in wp it may be 16mp sensor with pure view technology. may be next year with dual core dey produce a large camera with more than 41 by wp phn.

Nokia should focus more on price strategy, because countries like india, UK are still optimistic about nokia products. whereas compared to samsung and lg are killing there own products by producing new handsets day by day at a rapid pace without any large modification. Since, nokia has the edge for there imaging and they are already shifting there focus towards OS by means of collaborating with windows, now they should focus on pricing. about pureview the price should Be in the range of 500 to 600$. because all OS after sometime will be almost having similar features only difference will be price

KC, 05 Mar 2012I'm sure in the 20 or so markets the PureView 808 will be r... moreya nokia have a marketing strategi that release few set and sell it well than release another. like n9 is not available in india and uk which is nokias loyal market. they release lumia in india and uk even in america n9 is not available. and lumia sell only 8-10 countries. so any one tell n9 not sell well he is little bit correct. another thing is if pure view technology applied in lumia then it may be 16-20 mp sensor with ability to take 3,5,8,12 mp photo. dont need to give 41 mp camera to all ther phn, it makes u bore. good luck nokia and i always with nokia
