The term phablets slowly eroded as the size became the norm. Still, it's disingenuous to call this phone a tablet as it's barely larger than regular Galaxy S10 and far smaller than a tablet. As you pointed out, the diagonal measurement of wrap-around display makes it look much bigger than it actually is.

Impressive, and I can see, some people having severe pain, iPhone is the biggest copier of trends, Chinese start making new products and apple sits on the side and continues to monitor till the time that trend gets mature, then they call it innovation by Apple, thumbs up to Chinese manufacturers, be it dual cam, triple cam, full-screen displays, these all started from Chinese manufacturers, but some idiots can't bear it.

You cannot expect a device to process 100MP as fast as another is processing 12MP photo.
Did you know sports cameras have less than 30MP, while cameras used for studio have more than 40?
More MP = less speed .....

Why make 48, 43, 64, 66, 108... moreIMO, Quad Bayer Sensors fo mobile were still not very mature, this is one reason why major phone manufacturers won't equip their flagship phones with these yet even though they're the ones producing the sensors themselves. If you want to know why quad bayers with overkill megapixel sensor exist, you should also learn how colors were represented in a regular bayer filter having basic RGB as an example. This video would give you basic understanding of such matter:

Basically, more small pixels of each color in RGB distributed evenly in a small sensor would, in theory, produce the most optimal color representation of the object being captured. More RGB values can be captured in a very small area while bigger photosites would mean that (for example) a red color might be skewed because the part of the object that should be red, falls on the pixels with only Green and Blue because each color occupies lots of space (bigger photosites).

This is the only advantage of a 108MP 1/1.33" over a 27MP 1/1.33" for example.
Since it is Quadbayer/Tetracell, it wont give you details of native 108MP.
Also there is still a gap between pixels after binning, you they still grap less light than single pixel of same size.

HTC 10 had a 1.55um 12MP OIS sensor back in 2016 (it was pretty damn good, but didn't get much attention)
HTC One M7 had a 2.0um 4MP OIS sensor way back in 2013 (the low resolution made it look worse than competition which had 8/13 MP at the time)
This reminds me how innovative & progressive HTC was... I wish they'd find their way back into the game. They are a good brand with a lot of potential...
