Jimbob, 25 Sep 2019They've had time to dissect the p30 pro & see how it worksActually, no. That periscope/prism system is in use since 2015 and debuted first with Asus Zenfone Zoom. Back then they achieved "only" 3x optical zoom, still optical zoom was a new feature. This year we finally got some improvements to this system and if others can do it, then Sammy will try too.

From the looks of it, it really is a module with an anamophic and non-square pixels. If the CMOS is still a regular 4:3 with the 3 under the height restraint, it would be pitifully small.

D4UZ, 25 Sep 2019Ahaha so the the price could be as same as the bigger one :)Samsung is already overpriced, so I'll still wait for a sale of some sort. But I'm waiting for a device that will hit all my important checkboxes and S10e is pretty close. That's why I'm hoping S11e will improve.

And the sensor has more than 50mm2 , while current has 24mm2.
