06 March, 2012
Not a huge surprise, since Nokia already said they won't be releasing Symbian phones in North America.

Once again North America will finish second to the rest of the world ,and still have the same crappy cell service. The state of the art phone, the best phone in the world , won't be reaching America , probably because of billions of dollars by other phone co. to kee it out, because then Nokia would take over again. Losers !!!

jojo, 08 Mar 2012In US we dont need any outdated Nokia phones...even witha 1... moreHow is Nokia killing itself since you said yourself that people in North America don't need a Nokia device? If that's the case than Nokia is doing a smart thing by not including the states.

Um... why is everyone acting or is yruly surprised by this "decision". They hv stayed that their asha s40 & 60 series phones will be reserved 4 emerging markets. Theit wp / w8 will be for the more "mature" markets. This is old news. Agreement was that no nrw s40/60 phones will be sold in N. America and some other countries.

I will try to find a link that had similar notions. It was either here or at Tomshardware...

blueglue, 06 Mar 2012I take it as compliment, thanks. Fairly long comment, took... moreWell let me tell you one thing first , whatever happen it doesn't matter but when happen it matters! Same applied with Nokia they produce good products there is no doubt but their competitors produce better product that's the reason why you feel these about Nokia! because we don't want to backward ourselves and who the hell I am to force you to go back again? I am not the Nokia's marketer but I am not the hater too!
So in this news what GSMArena provide here they are mentioning news about the availability of Nokia 808 in North America , But see your comment dude you are far away from the topic and I don't want to comment as I mentioned my previous comment also but when somebody comment like yours then I can't control myself to reply that comment!
Well your comment is good also but I found the smell of Android fanboy in your comment like you found the Nokia fanboy in my comment!
But yeah if somebody ask me to choose high end smartphone between Android, WP7.5/8, Symbian then I prefer Android first but I used the Xperia x10 before and it's the very good smartphone there is no doubt but I don't I can't hate the N8 because of its battery backup and UI in that time!
So first I read reviews about that phones and compare that reviews with mine needs and which smartphone fulfill my needs correctly I'll go for that it doesn't matter about O/S it's about you needs! :D

GDT, 06 Mar 2012Dude its all fine abt having value for innovation. But no o... moreI didn't mean to say Samsung is uninnovative I love Samsung products , I really like Super AMOLED technology and I love the thing that they are now busy to enhance this technology to their TV also! But you first read my comment carefully which is not alone it's the reply to blueglue! Read first what blueglue said then you'll better understand what I mean to say! I just wanna say that in my post, if something is not sold hugely it doesn't mean that product is bad! Marketing is the key point to sell something but the main thing is that product must be qualified for the sell though in somehow! If Nokia 808 doesn't sold out as huge as N8 it doesn't mean N8 is better than N808 sameway if Samsung Galaxy SIII doesn't do well as compared to Galaxy SII then it doesn't mean SII is Better than SIII in general later is better in many cases! And you mention that Samsung Pixon has better camera than Nokia N86 ok I agree with that but If you say someone to take one of them then he/she will confused ,you know why because their platform are different Nokia N86 is slider Smartphone But Samsung M8800 is the resistive touchscreen feature phone with lack of WiFi! And their price are also different!

And again I love innovation waiting for 1st windows 8 tablet , Nokia 808 and Samsung Galaxy SIII and so on interesting products!
