The bad part is that even if you disable these parasite apps, they're still embedded in the system, you can never get rid of them completely. Software companies have become blood sucking parasites that you can't get rid of and want more and more of your time or money resources and they don't let you turn your attention from them. It will come a time when all software will be on a subscription, you'll pay every minute of it and they'll get all data out of it, too.

So...GPM did also play locally downloaded music...if YT music doesn't do that, is it not just adding more hard drive space to be wasted on Android phones?

I don't want either. I've had to put up with GPM being foisted upon me, which I don't want or use, I don't want YT foisted upon me without my consent either.

It would make more sense if Google makes the YT Music available in all countries. The country dependency of most Android features keeps making me consider iOS.

I think this points that YTMusic will be available Worldwide instead of some countries.
This will be so competitive with Spotify, Deezer & Apple Music
