With the current push to 100% S/B ratio (alpha's 180% doesn't really count) phones are looking very similar so this is a much better way to stand out than the ugly black camera square of the Pixel 4 and iPhone 11 pro and max.

Almost 10 years overdue. Due to the underscreen fingerprint scanner, I'm glad they don't use the Apple cutout as a TouchID scanner. It would be nice if FaceID and TouchID are both included in iPhone 12 unless they figure out the uncompromised underscreen camera and fingerprint scanner of course.
