Xiaomi Redmi 8 specs and price appear on China Telecom ahead of official reveal

      Would like to know whats makes this phone different from a redmi 8A because i dont see anything.

        Anonymous, 01 Oct 2019Its Redmi 8 & not 8A so the chipset either will be 636,... moreNo it's a same chipset (Qualcomm Snapdragon 439), that chip os also in Xiaomi Redmi 7a, so it's a downgrade, but, now is basic version 3/32 (Redmi 7 had 2/16), noe it have 5000mAh (Redmi 7 4000mAh), now it have usb type C for charging (Redmi 7 micro usb), last but not least, on aliexpress site, price for base version is 120 euros, so.. In mid october ot will be more to magic 100 euros price tag, and that's in flobal version, (Redmi 7 3/32GB on same site is 110 eurs, now), so yeah, better battery, littlw smaller phone (but thicker), differente back cameras position, brand new "green" color, and that's it!

              Its just horrible how Redmi series has managed to become just the cut off internals version of the Redmi Note series.

              Hope if they even release a Redmi 8 S it can be something like:
              Snap636/660 or Helio P65/P70 (better not Mediatek)
              3/32GB and 4/64GB versions
              12mpx camera + 8mpx ultrawide + 13mpx selfie cam
              4500mah
              AND under 5.99 inches 720HD+ screen combined with 150mm tall body

                        To the writer of this article: How come is camera improved?

                          Depth sensor + fingerprint compared to redmi 8a. Not worth more money compared to redmi 8a cause it's the same..This is downgrade from redmi 7 btw..
