Samsung can pack forewer.
Chinese cheaper but equal in quality and specs devices always prevailed.
Brand name means nothing.
Having Samsung or Xiaomi or Oppo, Vivo etc is the same.
Brand name is gone. Gone for good.

This is a rather late but inevitable realization of Samsung:
Within the smartphone space, Samsung, as a brand name, is no longer relevant in China.
(On the other hand, Sony, LG and HTC have never had any real relevance in China.)
Chinese smartphone ecosystem is the single most important in the world by far. This realization of Samsung says a lot about Samsung as a smartphone brand.
Even with a market share below 1% in China, Samsung still sell several millions of its flagship phones (S series and Note series) in China annually, more than the total sale of LG flagship phones world wide. Sony's smartphone annual sale (all models) for 2019 is estimated to be around 4 millions world wide. You get the picture of LG and Sony as smartphone brands.

I mean, what else do you expect from them lol. And iPhones are expensive, but they're very fast and very reliable smartphones.
