Facebook isn't integrated into iOS. What we do have - and I don't think this is new - is the ability to store Facebook usernames in contact entries. Tapping the username loads Safari to take you to that person's profile page.

This is an old integration which later on was replaced jsut mentioning via mobile. talk abt something new dude...........

This is NOT integration. Before, when facebook app was first released for the iphone, it showed updates and posts "via iPhone", now that's its gotten mainstream and more idevices got released, FB considered Android and iOS as "Mobile".
When Windows Phone got released, because it introduced pure FB integration, and a separate app, when posting direct from WP it will show as "via Windows Phone" but when using the FB app on WP, it shows as "via Facebook on Windows Phone".
Real integration would show "via [device/platform name]". Although FB apps available on other platforms such as BB, it still shows as "via BlackBerry" not "via Facebook for BlackBerry".

AnonD-4305, 07 Mar 2012so good on wp7 ? ... facebook on windows phone 7 is the wo... moreI thought we were Talking about Facebook integration, not the Facebook app. Facebook integration on WP7 is better than using the App. Facebook app on Iphone was awesome. haven't used it in a while but Androids Facebook app caught up. But all facebook apps get bugging once in a while.

Mine already has the "via Facebook for iPhone" and I don't know why :D It looks like the new iOS will have the Facebook Integration. :)

Now iPhone doesn't offer the possibility to post certain itemsn to your personal page in realtime. For example, you cannot add a YouTube clip or a picture directly to your Facebook profile from your iPhone...
