That's pretty exciting, but I still like the iPhone 8's design so much because it's practical even though it may not be beautiful, but still there is something I like about it.

Can't they make it 4GB, A14 Bionic and the display is all screen with a notch wielding FaceID 2.0.

If they make SE2 with size of real SE it would be a lot better.
This is another horrible nightmare made of spare parts of gazilions apples which has been traded for faster and never model.
Like always apple wants to reuse what they have in stocks and noone is interested for.
If they can teach their screen i am not genuine their new SE would cream i am made from used spare parts.

The design that Steve first show the world in 2007.
A giant screen. A home button to take you back from where ever you are. That ring of metal surrounding the glass panel. 128mb ram.. 4gb storage.
Now after a decade, still the same, yet different.
The home button becomes haptic, unbreakable, biometric.
The LCD screen becomes bigger.. from 3.5 to 4, to 4.7 to 5.5.
The bezels pushed to the limits, stopping just to ensure symmetry with the top and bottom.
That home button is always that 1 cm diameter in size. Year by year.
All to keep steve's dream alive.
That in itself, the change in the unchanging. Shows the innovation in the father of all smartphones.
Now with X, Apple is finally moving away from what brings them millions of fans. Its news like this, that brings me hope, Apple looking back, never give up on the original design.

of terible ram in, I phone drop you when you work with more apps! So please keep kalm with I 13 or whatever it is😂

This new device will trounce those expensive devices from Samsung & Google. The iPhone 11s keep out mass adoption because of the high prices, but with the SE 2 I predict budget buyers will flock to them.

This kind of indicates the overall state of recent launches.....they are going back to iPhone 8 now, next hear they are told to go back to iPhone 4 design, may be in two years they will go all the way BACK(ARD) to 2007 and finally disappear!!

Just keep the screen size under 5" and it will sell. My only gripe is with the RAM, why 3GB and not 4GB like all the latest iPhone models?

I love my SE, but it's crumbling and iOS 13 didn't do it any favour (battery drains much faster, overall responsiveness is down a notch) - still good after over 3 years. The 4-inch screen is a wee bit small, but I prefer that to the ginormous phablet-like devices going around these days.
I can deal with a slightly bigger display if it re-uses the iPhone 8 form factor, 4.7 inches is not too big, but it really should not be any bigger than that.
