The form-factor is certainly unusual, crazy, I'd say. Sadly, most people want something far more traditional. I'm afraid it'll flop just like the other model.
I remeber Nokia selling a similar thing. It flopped as well, as far as I know.

The color shifting is cool, but the length? I mean, how many people constantly carry a bag? I often wear jeans only, or biking shorts(as I bike), so this phone would be unsuitable to my needs. unless I would stick it up.... You know what! Nope, I pass.

The part i am wondering is when you need to type a text on it then where does the keyboard be placed where you can see what you write too. Screen space is enough only to fit full keyboard in it and no room left for to see the text you type.
