YUKI93, 10 Oct 2019It's about two to three times more expensive with nearly id... moreUm falso. Thats completely bogus. The tencent version is only 570 usd. So it was about 80 usd more than rm3. And its still only around 100 usd more than rm3s.

The other versions cost more but are no where even close to 3x the cost. And offer up to 1tb of storage vs the max of 256 on rm3/s.

And for only being 100 more the rog phone 2 is better in almost every way. Better display: brightness, touch latency, refresh, accuracy. As well as speakers, battery, software, triggers, extra port, headphone output, camera, etc.
All for only 100 more. So no...the rm3 or s are no where even near a steal compared to rog 2. But almost as good and cheaper so still worthy

Cheetah2k, 10 Oct 2019Just get the Asus Rog 2. I did. Best decision i ever made... moreIt's about two to three times more expensive with nearly identical spec as the nubia, and that's before you even consider all the accessories.

Definitely a steal compared to ASUS ROG Phone 2. It's a no brainer really, the nubia all the way. Xiaomi Black Shark? I never miss them.

Secondly... even if all that bogus crap you said was true about games then how would that make this a bad buy???
90hrz oled display, s855+, 8gb ram, 128gb ufs 3, gaming suite, built in fan with some of the best thermal dissipation, awesome design, great speakers, headphone jack, ok camera, large 5,000mah battery, etc etc.... and only sound 420 to 480 usd.....

And you're saying the is no good reason to go for it because in your narrow opinion android has no good games?????

Shadocx, 10 Oct 2019And there are also areas where the OP7 is better...If you had a normal level of reading comprehension you would know that was implied with the reply. And that the point read to discredit the claim the few things that oneplus was better at justified the price difference

I hate that RedMagic branding on the side. It ruins the clean looking of the phone.

8K should wait until at least 108mp or 32mp with regular bayer. At least k screen would help too.

All I need to know is if the screen will be any brighter. That was the only thing holding me back the first time...

It's cool and all but with a mediocre camera and other compromises what is the point of this device? You can watch movies on any other phones and 90Hz refresh rate means nothing to movies and other media recorded at usually 24fps or 30fps.

So the entire point of the device is gaming? Don't make me laugh, Android has no real games. For over a $100 less you can get a Switch with actual games or get an iPad and Apple Arcade. Of course Switch has much, much better library than iOS but at least it's not a complete joke like Android gaming.

Yeah the big high red screen is nice and so is 90Hz and the S855+ but what games, apart from emulated titles, are you going to play on it? PUBG and Fortnite mobile? Get real.

Almost $500 for a gaming device with no games currently available nor is sight is laughable. Get the Switch or the Switch Lite and you'll still have a bit leftover to put towards the PS5 that releases next year or maybe a new GPU for your PC when new nVidia cards launch in 2020H1.
