While iPhone SE is on the latest iOS and even iPhone 5S got a firmware update like two weeks ago, a device from 2013 which will enter 2020, lmao!!

GrandMaster, 11 Oct 2019Still way better than others.Might be faster when it comes to mid rangers and entry phones, but not on flagship level.

For everything else there is xda.

who cares, 11 Oct 2019" It took 17 days for OnePlus to update the OnePlus 7 and 7... moreThe only issue there was with a stable branch update and I've used OnePlus phones since OP3.

At least they pulled the update though, Google just lets Pixel owners be beta testers for the newest Android version.

If you want fast and stable updates you get an iPhone not the buggy Pixels nor the slow Android OEMs. Though iPhone comes at a price premium, about 2x of an equivalent OP phone to be more exact.

they brag about being really fast on updating their new phones then postpone Android 10 by 6 months to their merely 2 year old Flagship.

                    That's not fast at all.

elbot1234, 10 Oct 2019i wonder how many people own a oneplus 5 now. LULI've never owned a one plus but don't see why you think it would be funny to still own a 5 series , surely owning a phone longer is environmentally consciousness , I plan on owning my pixel 3a until it's totally dead

ShoryaZ, 11 Oct 2019Q2 2020 🙄🙄 Although I appreciate OnePlus efforts to even pr... moreEven if they update the OnePlus 5T to Android 10 in June, which is the last month of Q2, Android 11 would still in beta until August or September.

3 major OS updates, good job. My Note8 won't get Android 10 even if it's no problem for the hardware. They just won't bother releasing 3 major updates for their phones. Too much effort, besides they want people to buy their latest phones. That's a shame.

This really makes Sammy looks shameful. It's OnePlus EFFORT that makes Sammy looks inferior.

Q2 2020 🙄🙄 Although I appreciate OnePlus efforts to even provide 3rd major update, but by the time Android 11 would be around the corner. Seems like it's time to upgrade my OnePlus 5T and to other OEM, since OnePlus no longer offer headphone jack in their device anymore, also the camera is really lacking even on the latest devices 7/7T even 7 pro.

The Pie update on the OP3's has been poorly optimised with numerous users complaining or overheating and battery drain etc, just let's hope 10 for the OP5's gets more love, I doubt it will somehow.

" It took 17 days for OnePlus to update the OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro to Android 10."

And it took them even less to pull down the update as it had too many bugs lulz

Why bragging about being fast with updates when these updates don't even work correctly? Never settle I guess.

hm... now i might have to consider to go back to the stock ROM next year if they keep their word

                                        It's a shame it's not until q2 2020

I have a oneplus 5 now, but I probably won't by the middle of next year
