It's not clear what Samsung will do with the taller screen.

And we thought those glowing things in star wars, supposedly to be futuristic weapons, were light sabers, when if fact - those were just gloving displays of the future phones

You may argue with me, but 16:9 was the best screen to body ratio usability wise. Otherwise 2:1 is also fine but anything taller is not good.

Most notched screen phones 1 or 2 years ago used 19:9 ratio screen. So, samsung using 20:9 screen is nothing new.

The original Mi Mix was the best in this regard.

People talked bad when Sony introduced the first phone with 21:9. Stupid, too tall, too narrow, they don't even realize when phone makers start increasing the ratio bit by bit, 18:9, 19:9, now we're gonna have 20:9. The 21:9 will be a thing eventually, its already as movie industry standard anyway.

GAMIRSFM, 16 Oct 2019Why not use 21:9, that is a more common aspect ratio.Because the ones that hate on Sony 21:9 would need new accounts to praise 21:9 on Samsung.

Samsung is being generous to them.

Of course it will be praise, despite being another useless ratio like 18:9, 18,5:9, 19:9 and 20:9.

                              16:9 and 21:9 are useful, 4:3 acceptable
