And by the way there are gazillions of better options than google phone which is a midranger with price of most expensive apple.

You know what is worse than this? No microSD card slot. Imagine trying to access Google Photos when there is weak or no signal and Internet connection at all. I learnt that particular lesson... the hard way! That is why microSD card slot is still a necessity for offline usage all the time.

But of course. Google wants you to pay for cloud storage forever. That's essentially why Pixel phones don't have micro sd card slots. Google wants you to forever rent their apartment rather than have you buy your own home. You can buy a Class A2 V30 512GB Lexar micro sd card for less than USD $80! But no, Google wants you to buy a CDN$1000++ Pixel 4 with 64GB and zero storage expansion so you'll pay for Google's cloud services forever and have horribly compressed photos and videos as a bonus!

Why in the world would anyone buy this thing???
Base model is just 64GB.
Battery is small.
No SD slot.
No headphone jack.
No unlimited storage on cloud.
No earbuds or adapter in the box.
And on top of all, it looks hideous (their designer should be fired in all honesty)...
