Mine is 2.3.6? Isn't it suppose to be the same upgrade for the whole Philippines? I dont know much about firmwares or OS but from what I understand we shd be getting same updates right? Got updated thru Kies last Jan or Feb of this year.
Minor improvements though but still good improvements. Cant remember most of them. Haha.
Anyway, Im kinda scared of ICS. They said some items from android market may not work yet on ICS unless the makers of the program adjust as well. Also, will I loose what I saved in my phone (internal and external)once I upgrade to ICS. I have 29gb worth of files in my phone now.Im not a techie so Im not sure what to expect. If any1 could clarify for me, would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

My phone was made in Poland but i'm using it in the Maldives. And yes i got ICS 4.0.3! :D
But i was hoping to have the Blue & Black theme famous in the Nexus :/

updates for Philippines is not yet available. but u can still update you SGS2 by using ODIN3 just by downloading the official firmware on the link below. there is no problem in flashing your SGS2 to a firmware that is available to other countries. though you still have to take precaution in doing this or it may brick your SGS2. there are also guide that you can download on this site, register first so u can download the firmware. ODIN3 is available in FREE on any sites.

I get update yeastardy, there are something wrong with contacts when press search it shows all contacts on SIM and Google hoewer i say to show only google contats. But update have many good things too..

I have been using the ICS 4.0.3 for more than 24 hours now and I find it to be stable like the 2.3.6 version. There is no problem in WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth and the USB connections. Some people may find it lagging compared to 2.3.6 and a little bit slower too. So to fix it you have to get into recovery mode and select "wipe data factory reset" and "wipe cache partition." This will flash your phone completely . Also make sure you format / erase the USB storage and memory card prior to going into recovery. This would speed up the device and leave no applications or logs created under 2.3.6. The only thing I don't understand is why my 2D rendering is showing low scores on benchmark results.
People who need the OS to be 100% perfect, do not upgrade. This version is not like the one on the Galaxy Nexus either. 70% Gingerbread.

This ICS is disappointing. After installing it to my S ll , must of my apps and function started acting stranger 1st APN not working rightly keeps on crashing, want to change foto on lock screen can't because gallery is having some problems. In browsering adobe flash seems not to be working , I have this "?" mark there.
