Punch-hole is a step back...good for those who have OCD about mechanical parts.
But then the question arises: OnePlus praised their pop-up cameras so much. How come they suddenly lost faith in them? Is there a potential issue that is waiting to occur in OP7 Pro devices?

I'm getting the Galaxy Note 9, it is within my budget now. Believe it or not, where I live the Redmi Note 8 Pro cost 60€ less than the Galaxy Note 9.

If this isn't a sign that it's going to come with IP68 then I don't know what is.
OnePlus 9 will get the wireless charging and we'll reach a cool $800 for the base Pro model. OP is clearly aiming to be a premium manufacturer like Samsung, Huawei and Apple. They'll keep the $200-400 advantage but that's about it.

Rest things, you are already doing good.
I cant believe oneplus 7 pro camera takes pictures even less sharper than my 3 yr old s7 edge.

I see nothing wrong with consumers demanding features they care about. you might not care about audio but there's a lot of people that do and the Jack is a must have in their phones.
am one. i won't buy a device without it.

This is like going way backwards. For me, Bezel Less DP > Water Drop notch > Punch hole. Also, I read somewhere that the launch date is 23rd Jan 2020. This is so so ridiculous, OnePlus. What happened to your one phone a year launch program? This will be a timepass release I think. Very minute design upgrades just like Apple.

OnePlus is playing a crazy game. Oneplus uses a new camera design on 7T and change it back to the old style on OnePlus 8.
