Great! I've updated mine a few minutes ago. I was so excited when Kies showed that an update is available for SGS2. I'm still not used to ICS though. I'm happy that Samsung released it sooner than expected here in the Philippines. :)

Now its offical for S - II wz ICS and now they will made "Kies PC Sync" for ICS. So we can use that one with Nexus

Does anyone know when the update will be availaible for the unbranded i9100 in France?
To those who complain about the TouchWiz UI, you can install Apex launcher(free) or Nova launcher if U want pure ICS exerience.

AnonD-43931, 16 Mar 2012yes i know i connected my s2 to kies with pc there where ne... moreOkay by "upgrade from your hand" he probably meant installing a custom/leaked firmware via odin/cwm. Yes, it might void your warranty!
But if you do it via KIES then just don't worry because it won't void your warranty at all. Kies is the official pc suit type application for samsung mobiles and other than OTA update, the only "official" way to upgrade your firmware is via kies and that does NOT void warranty.
P.S If you are still not confident then I'd suggest you to ask samsung care executive specifically about upgrading via KIES and see what he says.
