Here is what China does to you... I prefer google ;)

I've come to the point where i believe every bug google has is just an excuse to make an update. To make them looks like they "hear" their customer's complaint.

[deleted post]Do you use youtube? why? google is bad...
And why China should go outside? China is good?

.alpha, 21 Oct 20192 years and cannot even copy Apple correctlyexactly! lol

Google's policy is:Give us £769(128 GB),that's exactly a $1000 for the new Pixel,it'll come with several issues, like all of them before, but we'll try to fix those in the future..shouldn't you get a proper, fully operational, flagship device for $1k out of the box??

2 years and cannot even copy Apple correctly

Project Soli has potential though. I do think those hand gestures are better used in a car, for a TV which Samsung has used before as well as their Galaxy S4, and for video games especially in VR.

PeterThePanda, 21 Oct 2019Eye detection is not enough. Face unlock should also ensure... moreGoogle did not copy those security features for speed sake, all to take a few shots at Apple in their keynote.

Imho this was not an oversight, it was deliberate. Google wanted to say their face unlock was faster than faceid so they skipped that part of the process to make it seem faster. The reality is once they add that step, once the camera has to analyse/check for eye contact, it will introduce a delay.

Google skipped all the good design decisions Apple made with faceid in order to say theirs were faster. That's not the only thing they skipped. They also skipped the notification page for most of us who uses that to read our notifications.

Eye detection is not enough. Face unlock should also ensure that you're actually looking at the phone when it is scanning for your face. Face unlock without ensuring that your looking at your phone is almost as insecure as having no eye detection.

Google pretty much did their version of Apple's Face ID. It should have copied all its security features as well.

I just hope people who plan to buy phones soon aren't such sheeps.
The phone is not worth the money, its better to go with Pixel 3 if you want the best stock android phone. If pixel was 30 % cheaper or came in a good bundle then it would be a good deal.

I don't see what's so bad about. A fingerprint sensor can also be unlocked if the person isn't awake.

Months? I'm not a coding expert, but if that is going to take months I wonder how their phone is even able to boot.
