I personally feel the Galaxy Fold is a bit of a niche product.
Folded it only has a 4.6" screen, which by phone standards is very small now.
Unfolded, yes it's a sizable 7.3", but even then that's still smaller than say an iPad Mini!
Buying for instance the Note 10+ 5G Phablet has a 6.8" display, cost less than a Galaxy Fold whilst still fills the void the Galaxy Fold is trying to expand into...

Well analitics are guys who think they know much more than they really know.
But the truth is they know far less than what they are thinking the know.
These gouys are definitely overpaid but brings only false informations based on nothing just personal thoughts and wishes.

While l likr this idea, I still prefer the dual screen concept as with ZTE Axon M and LG's Dual Screen aceessory for V50 5G, V50S 5G and G8X. That is miles more practical solution, plus I don't need to worry about creases from the plastic on the middle of the inside screen.

Haters gona hate. But samsung already sold 500.000 galaxy folds despite the recalling issue. In 1 month they sold better than some crap chinese flagships and people are soo jealous lol

I wouldn't be surprised if they sell 10 million.
Even though the concept is still flawed, it still offers many features not available in mainstream phones. Samsung also has plenty of time to improve on the design.
Also, there are more than 10 million people with $1-2k to spare wanting to buy a unique phone.

the concept is flawed if it needs to have a plastic screen. I like more the concept of Mi Mix Alpha which does not unfold but has zero compomise on everything else. Screen can be gorilla glass, can be 100% display on one side at least, one camera for everything, and all the rest. Samsung likes compromises, more screen, but punch hole; in-display fingerprint sensor but less reliable, and worse, no more iris scanner as alternative biometric authentication means. I am not sure this year's Galaxy line is indeed a progress compared to the previous version.

Even if they decide to sell it with 1000 dollars I will never buy it. But I will pay 3000 dollars for a great laptop.
