mumfood, 24 Oct 2019next year will be good for midranger. Samsung bashers alway... moreIf they are just bashing a brand, then sure. But if the criticism is based on the devices and their flaws then you couldn't be more farther than the mark.

gnu, 24 Oct 2019Yeah.. I'm looking at you Pixel 4.. Samsung will have midra... moreAnd you think price is the only issue?! if it was only that it could've been overlooked up to some extend. There'll always be customers to purchase a device as long as it provide some cutting edge technology even if its expensive. These people are basically just ripping off people. Just keep increasing the price and at the same time decreasing what they give in return. Its like you order milk regularly from a shop and they keep increasing the price while diluting it to the extend in the end you end up from 100% milk at first to only 1% milk and 99% of water while paying $ to $$$.
If the customers at least show some restraint with upgrading each year just because its a new device from the brand and decide to purchase a device only based on if its really necessary to upgrade then all these trends would end. True, people always be hungry for more then its also true that goes an exponential fold for those, especially if they are a business firm. As long as plenty of fish keep biting expect more and more baits to appear there. If you get what I mean.

KebabSLO, 24 Oct 201912 gb is kinda overkill, but why not. As long the price re... moreMaybe for now. But soon even 12GB RAM will become mediocre. It's not even been two decades since smartphones with less than 1GB RAM or even in MB terms of memory has been replaced by current gen devices. Nowadays most of the releasing devices has 6GB or 8GB variants as a norm. After each year passes the Software front also gets heavier too. So in order to handle it properly obviously the hardware needs some boost too.

next year will be good for midranger. Samsung bashers always love Samsung haha

well done Samsung, meanwhile, Huawei launching Honor 9X series with Kiriin 710F instead 810..."well" played Huawei...

12 gb is kinda overkill, but why not.
As long the price really is midrange...

Everything would be nice apart from the fact that Samsung midrangers cost as much as xiaomi, Meizu, Reno, Honor, Realme flagships some even 2-3 times more like A80 or A90.
In that way having a phone with SD665 or SD710 for example with 12GB of RAM for 600 is pointless.
