Back then, we've been craving for more RAM. This time, we're craving for less RAM. 12GB is way too much ram to spare.
Instead of that, why not make more ufs card slots? 180MB/s write on a UFS card is just what we need. More phones with expandable storage, and less phones with fixed storage. :|

I don't think I've ever seen my phone use more than 4GB ram. I don't feel like my phone is slow or apps are reloading much too often. This is just an attempt to raise prices by offering unneeded specs instead of streamlining the current capacities.
