[deleted post]I still have an omnia hd that came out before the 3gs. It still works great. With an oled display that's still gorgeous and yes it's been used a lot.
When the iphone 3g aka 2nd one was out with its 2mp camera without a flash, no video recording, faded lcd, couldn't even send or receive multi media text like a basic flip phone could do... samsung brought the omnia hd with a gorgeous oled that trashed the screens of the time. 8mp camera with flash. And first phone capable of playing or recording hd video. Best stereo speakers, etc.
Their only stupidity was not going complete full world wide release and dropping support for the next Symbian update.
Which was dramatically superior to ios at the time except for maybe the keyboard.

For a while they were consistently on top on many categories. They got lazy/greedier and others caught up. Which wouldn't be as bad if it wasn't for the apple like pricing. But most other players are doing the same with pricing.
However the only thing in defense of samsung there... compared to others not as an excuse for any company in general including samsung..... is that they spend much more than the rest in r&d, factories, specs, software, advertising, and usually compromised a lot less overall than most.

But if you've been an iphone user for any length of time you kmow how botched many of those updates can be. Plus the fact that the android is now advanced in its software day one out of box than that iphone is after its very last update.

From my point of view the main problem with the Note and with all Androids in fact is that all of them are too expensive when you factor in the life of the product.
A Note 10, even taking article prices( which take into account iPhone EU scandalous pricing) , has a 450€/year price as it is a dead phone in Samsung's eyes after 2 years.
An iPhone Max has a 250€/year cost with likely 5 OS update.
What is more scandalous is the fact that a 5y iphone will sell for the same or more than a 2y Note on the second hand market. A 5y Note won't sell period.

Many people praise iphones, pixels, and the horde of chinese gadgets, for ONE reason or other, but the truth is, no device packs as many features all around than the galaxy note series devices, and now, specially the note 10+, that's it, pure and simple

You can make a case the Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max is the best smartphone of 2019 without regard to its size or price. Again, I don't like iOS but the 11 Pro Max is the best.
To me, iPhones' success relies on so much having iMessages and Apple's overpriced, overrated ecosystem. It has an inferior OS as well. But with that said, I haven't seen the 11 Pro Max lose in a battery test or camera comparison.

In real life usage Overall Note 10+ is good and I don't think most Business minded and tech minded individuals whose Note series was made for care much about photography cos that's why u have DSLR ..my Note 10+ shoot great camera and video that i even print out same as my P30 pro... The huawei is just mostly over saturated

A complete collection of useless gimmicks in an ultimately normal (even ugly if you ask me) appearance for an unacceptable amount of money (Yeah, iPhones are too harsh on profit margin and pricing for sure) compared to a few other phones.
I was just looking for "In partnership with Samsung Mobile" through the text and I'm surprised it's not there...
