I don't believe building Hydrogen phone is a hard thing. Why didnt they go to one of the big companies like Sami and asked them to build it for them!?

Anonymous, 26 Oct 2019What everyone can see is that is simply your own bias opinion.Like others said, if the project is not being discarded because he is quitting, someone else could have taken over and continued the project. they are cutting it because its too much of a risk. And yes I can only assume things from this end but given the story of the project you just need some common sense to guess what's going on.

"We made a scam device and we will not do it every again" would've been a shorter and more honest statement.
Hydrogen one overhyped and underdelivered. They should've made the hydrogen two and offered it for free to anyone who bought the first device.

Glad to see the old boomer retiring from a modern industry, no wonder his products failed because he couldn't keep up wit the times.

that phone was really ugly. The pattern on the sides makes sense to provide better grip, but the back and front and bezels, its like they wanted to create identity based on its looks and not its performance.
He is not quitting because he is retiring and I think everyone can see that.

Whackcar, 25 Oct 2019Hydrogen One was a joke, just like Nokia 9. There was nothi... moreCompare it to Nokia 9 i think a bit too far off. At least Nokia 9 RAW editing fun to play & great color science reproduction.
And yes, Lumix CM1 is dearly missed. Its a compact digital camera on a phone. A little tweak here & there, Panasonic can actually nails it to the market if its done right.
