To this day, only Samsung Pay have such functionality. You have to remember that not all premises out there had switched to NFC, some are still relying on old technology. That is where Samsung Pay has the greatest advantage by far.

    Google Pay (formerly Android Pay)

    Cash is taken from more places but I prefer debit these days. Don't want to carry too much cash with me. Samsung Pay uses MST. Most cash registers aren't NFC-equipped.

    I say from my experience, Apple Pay was like 50-50 to me where I went. Google Pay was slightly less. But Samsung Pay was like 85%. Cash is close to 100% while debit is like 90-95% accepted.

    The knock on Samsung Pay is bringing out my smartphone for the cashier to scan it. Would still feel awkward using a Samsung smartwatch especially in a fast food drive-thru. Which is why I stick to my debit card. Less hassle. Easy to pay for my gas.

    I mostly used Apple or Google Pay in a pinch. Sometimes I forgot my moneybag at my house which holds my debit. Stuff like that. But neither from my experience is really accepted from the places I go to. The best is really Samsung Pay among those three.

      Samsung Pay is still better though.

            Why are people with Samsung's using Samsung Pay instead of Google Pay?

            I don't have a Samsung so I am genuinely curious. Is there a benefit?

                    Meanwhile, Apple Pay is not available here in Malaysia. But then again, it is Samsung Pay that is popular here. The ability to use it on old MST machine definitely makes it my favourite mobile wallet ever.

                      This has more to do with Apple simple and straight forward ad/message. I am sure buying power also plays a role, it will not be surprising if in 5 years we also find out Apple Card is the most use and popular credit card.
