I have Honor Band 4 and it is with sleep tracker, bluetooth on, all the incoming messages appear etc. Battery life is 8-9 days. I doubt the new model to have less. I just don`t believe.

Flossy420, 28 Oct 2019Do you even own a mi band? I've had the mi band 3 for almos... moreI had the min band 3, switched to honor band 5. Then only way honor is inferior is the battery backup, other than that in every possible way honor band 5 is better. Specially the tracking. Another good thing about mi band 4 is probably the unlimited watch faces, but really that is a personal preference.. for me tracking is most imp. Bcoz it is a fitness tracker, not some faux accessory. Honor band is the better option. Use it then compare and then blabber

I've had the mi band 3 for almost a year now and it's just as good when i first got it. I now have the mi band 4 and it is phenomenal. I never tried the honor band 5 so I can't really speak on it but there's no reason for you to bash the mi band like that when you know nothing about it

The author is a joke by saying : "That’s all you need to know about a device that costs €30"
Like he made a whole review to the device and also making mistakes and defending his opinion by saying that he had a fairly enough time with the device
But let me tell you somethings :
1- first the strap are intercheangable
2- you didn't mentioned senors nor IP rating
3- No mentions to SPO2 , SLEEP TRACKING , 10 WORKOUT MODE INCLUDING SWIMMING
And oh yeah the music control too and that crapy notifications on the band
To my knowledge this the best budget fitness tracker at market with a decent battery life of 1 week that has an active 24/7 heart rate
The comp. Like xiaomi has 5min interval of heart tracking even samsung or fitbit hr seems to failed judging by the price gap

Brightness is indeed adjustable, but you'd know that if you'd actually used the thing for more than 10 minutes.
I have the Band 4, which as been great. I lost it briefly, so went and bought a Samsung Fit, which is generally worse - takes longer to charge, doesn't track sleep as well, doesn't track heartrate as well, difficult to use strap, charging takes hours upon hours. The Samsung also needs 4 apps installed on non-Samsung phones. The Honor only needs Huawei Health & Mobile Services.
If you're using an iPhone, the Honor will sync everything in to Apple Health. The Samsung doesn't sync anything at all.
Thankfully I found the Band 4 again, and it's definitely better than the Samsung.

Eric, 28 Oct 2019MiBand 3 & 4 are better... Plus better looking atleast.Thos bands are quite inaccurate.. and you have to change thr band like every 2months if you take into water. The display is worse as well. Sleep tracking is crap, and one less sensor. Doesn’t make sense at all

Are the step counter, heart rate and sleep tracking accurate? Or at least comparable to fitbit?

I've bought this band about a month ago. My wife has a Mi Band 4, so I have noted some differences:
+ Honor Band has "better" sleep tracking (it looks more precise, noting sleep changes more frequent, and the app gives more comment on you sleep pattern);
+ constant heart rate monitor is nice, and the graphs in the app show my heart rate during cycling/other activities, together with height changes;
+ the screen looks nicer than Mi Band;
+ you don't have to take out the "pill" from the band when charging (like in the Mi Band);
- it doesn't reconnect with Bluetooth after leaving the BT range (you have to unlock the phone and sometimes reconnect using the app - REALLY ANNOYING), and the range is shorter than at Mi Band;
- it counts more steps than it should (more than the Mi Band);
- it doesn't clear the notifications if you read them on your phone;
+/- it does have brightness setting (on the band itself and "night mode" setting in the app) but it's still too bright at night;
+/- I have the constant heart rate monitor enabled, and I have to charge it every 6 days;

For the writer, there is an option in the band to adjust the brightness level. Please correct the article.

Eric, 28 Oct 2019MiBand 3 & 4 are better... Plus better looking atleast.MB4: way better battery life without HR tracking, convenient alarm setting, wide selection of bands
HB5: accurate sleep monitor, ergonomic design, better mobile application (sorry Xiaomi fans, the latest version of MiFit is terrible)
I have both devices...
