I think this will be the substitute to their max series. Since we haven't heard about the mi max 4 to be released this year. And expected to be more expensive than max because the note series before is equivalent to their high end mix series now.

Mi Note 10 Pro will have 1440p screen. First mi note pro had it while mi note didn't, so the difference between note 10 and note 10 pro can be screen resolution

Now even the terminal note series is hitting 6.5" pretty much near the extreme of 1 hand usability.

Also ... moreProbably because is a product designed to compete with the Galaxy Note 10, and different from the previous Notes from Xiaomi. It'll so funny if these phones come with Stylus pen plus audio jack now that Samsung removed it from their Notes. It's a good oportunity to do something like that now. Imagine anounce a Note 10/10 Pro with jack, SD865 or SD855+, 5G, stylus pen, and few more cool features under the Mi brand.
Is the range market where Xiaomi is still not present, the Mi Mix Alpha is more experimental, so a high end phone with stylus on the top of their product line makes sense now. In any case, soon we will have more details of what they are preparing. One thing is true, the have done this under a big secret until now, no leaks like with other products so is a big "?" and a surprise for now.
