15 March, 2012
It's only been confirmed by Samsung Norway so far, so it might only affect certain regions.

Anyone notice that most Samsung news recently has been about delays only? Annoying. Shows how much Samsung really cares bout it's customers.

It will look so old when the update will be out and I should be chasing a new phone in June not sticking to the old galaxy note. You are absolutely right. I feel really disappointed getting this phone.

Samsung and android are not same. android is open kernel mobile OS. Samsung is a manufacturing co. nokia much more user friendly brand from Samsung. i just told this. u tried about os. Symbian is a back dated os in this days. I know, i didn't discuss about that. u r trying say about os market condition. so u r totally out of track. if u r technical support representative for one of australia's mobile carrier, that's why people suffer so much. cause u try to give support with understand consumer problem. u r also not a user friendly representative.....

People are nuts if they buy things for what they might be in the future.

Buy things for what they are and how useful they are NOW! Then anything else is a bonus.

            Here's some silly dreaming.
'I can't wait until Win8 in on the Note! That would be awesome! I'll spend the next six months fretting over whether Samsung will do that, but then I could just get some other totally different phone because I am a phone idiot that gets off on wasting money on stuff that I don't really need, and then complaining about stuff that it doesn't have that I knew it didn't have when I bought it.'
            Sound familiar?

for me...i look at the marketshare. it's like the lines of your palm. destiny and history is already written. majority of the market has already spoken.

                    ofcourse...am not convincing any fanboys....

i think u r trying to be the share holder or owner of the brand. i am not owner of the brand, i just wanna be owner of a product which one can fulfill my focus demand. u know a lot about market condition, but i know about the technical condition. so....u r so far from ur own track.....follow ur foot root....

It has now reached the point that ICS will roll out at exactly the same time Jellybean is due out. Ridiculous.

Quite honestly. At this point if they cannot provide ICS any time soon, then skip it and go straight to Jellybean, once the souce code is available, and please don't try and tell me the phone is not powerful enough to run it. If that is the case then virtually no phone this year will be able to run Jellybean.

This is very disappointing. I mean, there are literally thousands of folks willing and able to port ICS to the Note. All Samsung has to do is open some of their closed binaries. If that was done, we'd have had ICS for months now. This is my first Samsung phone, and I'll take this outright lie on the company's part in consideration next time I make a purchase (Samsung stated that the update shall hit the air in Q1 2012).
