Don't bother! I'm selling my phone anyway..Enough is enough.
I've had it (the phone) for four months - it wasn't quite cheap to buy (extra fee + 2 year contract) in the first place - and it was a really frustrating experience for me. Especially for the category of the phone and the expectations. First it's a Google phone and then Samsung and so there's no excuse for being so inert. Even before I manually upgraded from Gingerbread to ICS 4.0.3 the experience was far from excellent. And afterwards it was ridiculous. The phone app, contacts and the browser are incredibly slow, with pages loading for 30sec or more and zooming in and out with refreshing taking an eternity. Battery life is awful. I was waiting for a fix or upgraded version for months and now while all sorts of tablets, phones Samsungs and HTCs are getting ICS, this Google phone is still waiting with only unofficial news that it might come. It wouldn't come in time anyway and my guess is that it wouldn't work like it should. My biggest regret is that I obtained with a two-year contract...so Google you should really reconsider your business model with the Android, something is really wrong here!

this phone has same specs with i9000.
the only advantage of i9000 is the external card.
how the hell i9000 will never had the ics update.

Don't be fooled by this, nothing is "Official" until such time as it comes directly from Google and or Samsung. Furthermore, stating "the next few weeks..." is simply a way of pacifying those of us that are, shall we say, frustrated, with the lack of proper support. At my company, we believe in the words ownership, responsibility & accountability, our KPM's & KPI's are built around them.

Google, my i9020a Nexus S has your logo on the back plate, what does that mean to you exactly?

Isn't it about time you performed a little damage control?
