For once "pro" means "pro". This is a rugged phone aimed at professionals with support FirstNet and push-to-talk.

Rugged phones are really good if you can live with the way they look.

Maybe Samsung should consider releasing this for consumers under the "Active" branding. Since it shares the specs with S9, they could just call it S9 Active...

      Meanwhile at Samsung's headquarters:
Person 1: "Hey, there's an extreme shortage for high-end rugged phones. What should we do?"
Person 2: "Let's make a high-end rugged phone and then NOT release it to public markets!"

I get it though, if you buy a device like this you don't need to buy another one for 5 years, and manufacturers don't want this behaviour.

as a paramedic i almost feel regret buying note10+.

but anyway my Note is IP68 certified, seems ow...kay.
an Otterbox or Punkcase Metallic would be sufficient.

            Interesting
