1. Hinge was more precise.
2. Total thickness was smaller.
3. Fugly bezels were trimmed down/purged all around.
4. Design not reminiscent of a chocolate bar like the LG chocolate.
5. The outer screen was larger/wider and not of inferior 720p resolution.

Well... Moto is currently working on a camshell foldable phone & i like the idea.

There is another fold because some people was willing to support the first fold.

21:9 seem very well for the smartphone design, it way longer than 16:9 but definitely better than chubby display. See...

Seriously, Galaxy Fold and that Huawei thing were probably beta devices that they decided to sell to make some money. The clamshell design was obviously the right way to implement this.

This phone is the exact reason why first gen products such as the Galaxy Fold are not worth buying but only admiring the general idea & vision of a proposition while also showing that gen 2 devices are almost always 100% more improved & refined even though this clam shell is not a fold out tablet design yet is still a much better and sleeker looker than the chunky fold.
Tl;dr - Just be patient, good things come to those who choose a little bit of wait.
