Chinese ones. It could be that one company now, could be them next. The US market has become an unpredictable and risky market for Chinese companies as of late.

I'm personally looking forward to the iPhone SE 2 and I can't wait to leave these humongous, buggy, and fragmented Android devices for a smaller, faster, and more efficient iPhone.

Dometalican, 01 Nov 2019I will be the first to tell you, I know (America's a laughi... moreI can tell you that most Americans don't care about cheap Chinese smartphones because of the stigma behind them. They're perfectly content with their Samsung and Apple devices because they're both reliable and better looking anyway. Besides, if they really want a smartphone from China then they can always import one from various sites.

Niku225, 01 Nov 2019I wish Nokia could make a comeback in the whole world. They need to make phones again instead of rent the name to HMD

Dometalican, 01 Nov 2019Dude, it ain't hard to program LTE bands 2,4,5,12,13,17,25,... morePerhaps because 1/2 of users (AT&T and verizon) are not on these bands? market is not viable to even bother with rest

Unless iPhone 12 is big hit, OnePlus/OPPO and Xiaomi will overtake Apple like nothing, but they will probably make comeback with iPhone SE

[deleted post]Dude, it ain't hard to program LTE bands 2,4,5,12,13,17,25,and 26 with the rest of their bands. This is 2019 where ANYTHING can be bought from ANYWHERE. Only having 1,3,5,7,20,28,38,39,40, and 41 is pure idiocracy when adding the above 8 takes ZERO effort.

These companies worry a lot about the smartphone market shrinking when they are selling nearly 400 millions phones in a single quarter. But what do they have to say about handling the waste from such a huge amount of devices and recycling their old phones?

We are talking about over a billion phones every year and they are crying because its not continuously growing.

[deleted post]I will be the first to tell you, I know (America's a laughingstock right now). But I wish there were more choices.

These "Global" companies are too stupid to make phones with LTE support that is actually global. Maybe if Huewai, Xaiomi and others could look at a map they would realize there are other countries than China and India. There are even Chinese and Indians in those countries.

I mean...it doesn't help when like 80% of these phones don't have US bands...all they need is that and they can sell more out here but they ONLY cater to those 2 regions.

I would've wanted the Realme X2 Pro otherwise but we're stuck with the same stupid choices...

I wish Nokia could make a comeback in the whole world.
