But I have a applock feature on all my phones (Huawei, Oppo & TECNO) and even if the phone do not the one made by TECNO is downloadable on the app store for other brands to... Why even bother with this feature in Whatsapp? :S

I could live with an argument that Facebook may facilitate divorces, as it has algorithms that have a hand in people discovery and stuff.

Hilmawan, 02 Nov 2019When you have a child who likes to play with your phone lik... moreYeah, that's why I was saying for my usage, no children around me and I doubt that's going to change, plus if I'm away from my phone I always turn the screen off to lock it, so I don't need app lock, since the phone is already locked and need my fingerprint, face or pattern to unlock it.

Whatsapp owned by fb isn't that safe in the first place. Fingerprint unlock wouldn't be my goto method, pattern lock is the best

Because sometimes they will accidentally send messages, buy things online or even contact other people just out of curiosity.
But luckily on my phone there is a built-in feature that can lock or even hide all applications and open them with pins, patterns, passwords, fingerprints or face recognition.
