Looks awesome, this is how a foldable should be. Unfold the device into a smartphone, not unfold a smartphone into a tablet, with a suitcase for carrying it. Pocketable, easy to see notifications on the external screen, I am waiting for it!

I want a small phone again and without any glass backs. This is it. No need for anymore screen protectors or TPU cases. Time travel back to 2004-2006...

          1. Microsoft Surface Duo (2020)
          2. Motorola RAZR (2019)

Thank you Lenovo for bringing this nostlagia phone back! Gorgeous phone

I'm glad to know they've kept the iconic design of the original RAZR without modifying it too much. This looks like a proper successor to it, and i for one would like to know more about it. The specs do seem disappointing (especially the battery size), but I'll hold my judgement until we have more details on our hand.

TechEnthusiast, 01 Nov 2019I still dont understand the benefit of such phone. You are ... moreThere are two types of people. Those who want bigger phones & those who want smaller ones.

As it stands, almost every brand is catering to the first kind by releasing behemoth sized phones.

The second type of people are in disarray & keep waiting for some select few compact phones to come up & satisfy them.

Since you're the first type, this phone is not made for you, and thus you should not argue it's existence. The people who are looking for compact phones will be happy to see it, and you should let them appreciate it.

These are the expected comments when something new is introduced.

                    Such a ugly design!

What a terrible looking phone. Original was thin and classy. This one is thick and clunky.

The other appeal of the original was the way it opened up. No other flip phone was like a RAZR.

You are ... moreI think it's a solution for people who don't want to carry large phones and can have a large screen in a different format. If the software delivers, this will be a win win for Motorola. I hope they release the silver and the pink versions too.

Josephnero, 01 Nov 2019Agreed. That fat chin is gonna be problematic for landscape... moreTo add to that the notch is still haunting the screen yukkk

That alone is enough to justify the existence of this phone.. No it is not the most convenient nor it is targeted for the masses.. It only appeals to the certain niche

I can use the phone one handed as it's not that wide and then its becomes even more pocketable when not in use. I would appreciate a more functional outside screen however

I like how Motorola stick with the original razr design and not like the Galaxy Fold and Huawei Mate X that looks like generic phones folded into half. They look like prototypes.
