With Windows Phone "8" en route, it comes as no surprise that the number of background apps that can run parallelly has been increased to "8" !!!

the huge different between N9 n lumia800 is that wp has a lot of restriction compare to meego.
N9 has hotspot, front camera for video call, nfc, slightly bigger screen and dual boot with ICS Alpha (Nitdroid).

This is false. The ROM that they got the 8 background apps is from an HD2 WP7 8770 ROM with modified registry. Meaning whoever made the ROM increased the number of apps from 5 to 8, but officially Windows Phone will still have 5 background apps.

When i look at ur images GSMArena, it is actually 9 apps running on the background including the home screen.
in windows phone when u open an app e.g people's hub and u switch to multitasking, u only find the people's hub with home screen running.

I just hate tile on wp.but love interior design.i'm galaxy user but wanted to move wp.ios is just boring.as soon as my favourite apps hit entry on wp will jump in I just need very few apps viber, train trapper, mobile voip,Nepali calender, gmail,few more.that's it.

hi guys ..i wanna know whos's better nokia N9 or lumia 800 Coz N9 without radio & just 1G CPU it delay especially when u'll turn on ..>>& lumia 800 it\exist only in 6 countries italy uk france netr.. spain germany & USA ..it's not coming 2 libya till now probably & no arabic version also what's about it battery & i'm Big fan 4 Symbian-OS & if i using 7.5 OS it'll win android ICE "sandwish 4.0" ....Thx in advance :D

Multitasking 8 instead of 5 is good. MMS and optimisation is better! :--]
