Anonymous, 05 Nov 20191. People who bought premium TV won't use it for life time.... moreYour point #1 does not make any sense, relative to my comment, at all. For instance, there are premium LCD TVs produced which you can't even rule-out as only for the "poor".
Point #2, I would say my logic was leaning towards hyperbole. The much correct statement would be "If you want a TV that last longer (relative to OLED), you should opt for an IPS display". My point #2 is based on my own research in between OLED and IPS screens. As long as the organic material in OLED were not eliminated, it will not last (never will be) compared to IPS LCD. Even Samsung uses LCD (IPS, PLS, VA) and uses QLED as their backlight for their premium TVs even though they can produce AMOLED but they won't. They knew it well enough (AMOLED) to not use it on their premium TVs.

TechRadar, 06 Nov 2019Still, it's fakery. smhI know, but my point still stands in the end.
Samsung and Huawei are the only manufacturers who got criticised for using DSLR photos in their promotional materials and let people think they were taken by their phones.

No TV gives you more than 5 year warranty. By that time, technology has moved so fast that you are forced to buy a newer model.

You should read the actual contents of the article rather than skimming through it. The photo has been taken by Mi Mix 2S using Portrait Mode, no dedicated camera was used here. It became a problem because Xiaomi implied that the photo had been taken by Poco F1.

Pocophone (Xiaomi) faked camera samples using a proper camera as well: https://www.gizchina.com/2018/09/04/xiaomi-top-exec-fakes-pocophone-f1-camera-samples/.

On the side note, for the love of God, just get a proper camera if image quality is the main priority.
