Guess what, they are both still strong, after 3 years in my htc 10 and 2 years with my htc u11. htc 10 never knew a case or front screen protection still with 0 scratches. htc u11 without front protection, only with slim transparent silicone back protection because it's too damn slippery, not because i'm afraid of bend. but drops are another thing. why I would bother with thoses tests anyway?
apple iphone 6 and more iphone 6 plus were too easy to bend still i bet millions of people never had an issue with them. antena gate was more serious to me and much more important one.
bend are like those tests from an aeroplane if the phone will survive....its cool to watch but zero influence where my money will be spent. Like i told I've both the best and the worst phone in bend test and still they both are amazing well in real life situations. why i would care about a usless test? guess you care also about the burn test....

Fortunately they are quality issues. If apple could admit that during i6 bendgate saga, no reason google can't. It is issue of structural integrity of a phone. I highly doubt that you would want to live in a structure that bends. Why live with phone that does?

how hard is to an manufactor put a steal frame like the iphone or a reforced 2 lines of steal inside a phone just to pass this dumb test. that doesnt say nothing about the components used or the quality of them. only reta*ds like you think that way.
Do you know why they made that way? more covering? less interference? less radiation needed to get proper signal? just bad design? just do what i you want, i will keep doing the same...my pixel 4 arrived yesterday btw, amazing phone. till now the only real negative i can say about it it's the battery (but i was expecting that from the reviews), 30% left with 4hours with screen time, the battery should improve with the smart battery saving option, only time will tell, but all rest is just amazing. lots of small things that none of the reviews talked about that are very helpfull to everyday use and that is my goal, to take advantage of its software not of its bendable capability....

funny how people are dismissing the bend problem with google, but there was a time when the iphone 6 bend and everybody was calling it bendgate and every android fanboy was jumping to bash apple, but now reading thru the comments, they are even defending why it bended, times has changes.
they bashed apple for the notch but when pixel has the notch they defended it, when apple made the 3.5mm jack obsolete they bashed them, when pixel took the 3.5mm jack they defended the move, when apple implemented the faceid they said it can be trick, now with pixel opening the phone even with your eyes closed, they are defending it.... there is absolutely a trend here

Funny how the comments trying to defy Jerry. It's your own choice, yes that's true. But Jerry is a professional. He has been abusing phones from past few years and have millions of followers. Even tech companies followed him and sponsored him, since he's like an influencer in tech world. Everyone's watching his video not just to take his words fully. Most people watched his video to see the durability test of the phone they wanted. If you don't like it, you don't have to watch it

Good heavens... the bendgate of the iPhone 6 many years ago was totally harmless, compared to this. The iPhone 6 only bent, but it didn't break.
This Pixel 4 XL has far less structural integrity than the iPhone 6 ever had.
Can we call this #breakgate, please? That would be a very fitting name.
Not only Google is too stupid to design anything that isn't butt ugly. This one, too... the fat border on the top was apparently copied from some 2016 phone. The camera on the back is a poor copy of last year's Mate 20 camera design, which went horribly wrong.
Now this #breakgate is even adding insult to injury, on top of all the other failures and shortcomings the Pixel phones have... like the very buggy software, which I haven't mentioned yet.
Charging $1000 for this fetid excrement Pixel 4 XL is really way beyond insane. Are they seriously expecting people to buy this garbage?

This should be done by Marius Pudzianovsky a man who won 5 times World Strongerst Man competition and the only human in universe who have 5 titles from this show.
With mariusz gentle hands even the phones such as Sonim or Caterpillar will bend like sheet of paper.
Wish to see him testing flagship models such as Sony, Apple, Samsung, LG etc.

Only sheep's buy what others say what's right or wrong. I know what i want and what i need...bend tests are not on my check list when i buy a phone. go see more jery videos..at least they are fun.

Did you have have problems with any phone bending? ip68 is 100x more important to me.
I've htc u11 that failed bad on bend test. for the past 2 years still have 0 scratches and 0 problems bending or whatsoever with no front protection, only slim back transparent silicon case.
keep trying to justify your crap 200$ phone.
