Newtmas, 08 Nov 2019I still remember when most of android fanboys used to say “... moreThe problem is the difference of the OS. Not the chipset manufacturer. I doubt that if Apple SoC can run Android, the benchmark score is that high. So I doubt too that Qualcomm is way behind Apple in terms of perfomance. Android is less efficient and less optimized (more fragelmentation) than iOS but of course has more advantage too on other aspect.
So comparing on different OS is not relevant to the SoC manufacturer.

Anonymous, 08 Nov 2019According to some leaks, SD865 isn't THAT MUCH better than ... moreThis is a huge difference in the single core. Very often Qualcomm does less than that, I'm actually kind of impressed. Still two years behind Apple, but the actual difference in percentage is less than it used to be.

SD855
Single Core: 3500 --- Multi Core: 11000
SD865
Single Core: 4200 --- Multi Core: 13000
So don't worry and go buy 7T Pro. And don't even think about replacing it -At Least- until 5nm chipsets come in 2021.
