Hey, thanks for the article. Doogee is improved by miles now and and can be next Xiaomi, if the company chooses so. (My friend has their rugged phone, really can't remember the model) but i am positively surprised. Less gimmiks, more reality.

Anonymous, 11 Nov 2019Water-resistant maybe, but not scratch-resistant... Corning... morePretty much gg 4,5 and 6 will all scratch at the same level, they may shatter at different points but the only true ways would be to have a sapphire glass screen

Water-resistant maybe, but not scratch-resistant... Corning gorilla glass 4 is outdated now, all truly rugged phones must be protected with Corning gorilla glass 6 in order to be really useful in the real-life conditions.

I wonder how resistant that double layer of GG is. Isnt tempered glass better? I've seen phones with tempered glass be hit with a hammer and the tempered glass takes most of the damage. Not only that but you can easily replace it.
This phone looks good for a rugged phone though

These manufacturers like Doogee, AGM, Ulefone prove that phones don't have to cost a lot for the ruggedness. It remains to be seen how well this thing is actually built, through drop/scratch etc tests, but at the price, this phone is worth it, rugged or not. I'd certainly get one but sadly I'll have to pay customs which is about forty percent so that makes it expensive for a very silly reason. Countries must allow people to buy from foreign retailers without taxing a horrible amount

Those specs are pretty good for the price. It would've been more attractive with a Snapdragon chipset though.
Good to see these rugged phones continue to exist. They might not sell that much, but do serve their users better than typical fragile phones.
