Asus Zenfone 6z and 5z get discounts on all models

The Asus Zenfone 6z gets a 5% discount while the 5z goes down by more than 20%.

The newest models with IPS panels all have ugly notches which is something I refuse to tolerate. It seems the last one without a notch was the iPhone 8 Plus. But looking on eBay they're ridiculously expensive even for a second-hand one. With Android you can get the same performance for a fraction of the cost. So that kinda irks me.

I used to have the ZTE Axon 7 and the sharpness was clearly not as good as any IPS phones I have used despite being higher in resolution. OLED is also intolerable to me due to the flickering which causes headaches and eyestrain.

      It makes me sad that the Zenfone 6 is the only decent SD855 flagship with an IPS panel. Name another one?

Additionally, Asus has promised 2 major OS updates. Except for a few models like ROG phone 1 (which was purchased by a few), I think Asus does really well on the update front.

          When I said that "Stock Android 10 is just icing on the cake" I meant that people buying 6z can enjoy Android 10 immediately, instead of some future update.

            5z still got ghost touch issue or it's solved

              Unless OLED gets rid of the diamond/pentile matrix, I'd get an LCD phone in the future. I'm not satisfied with the sharpness/detail in my Samsung and whenever I look at my LG Nexus 5, I always get blown away with the image quality

                            We want Zenfone 6z here in the Philippines? Why you can't try to release here instead of Rogelio Phone 2. Just release 6z here. Many people will buy 6z here.

                                A fantastic buy, especially for those who want to avoid poor quality super amoled displays present in some low-tier phones.
                                Serious banding issues in dark scenes in HDR videos for me! Personal experience!!!
                                Amoled displays (except when USED by Samsung or Apple) still have quality issues.

                                Stock Android 10 is just icing on the cake!
