Check out the Motorola Razr behind the scenes video

Motorola executives call the device “a piece of art that folds in half”.

Anonymous, 14 Nov 2019they spent all that time talking about how it folds. they ... moreBecause for most people this type of marketing is more natural and meaningful than a spec sheet that means nothing to them.

This is not a phone for those interested in spec sheets, with primary focus on flagship chipsets.

Most people use their smartphones for social media apps, surfing and e-mail etc. And perhaps some simple games, graphically speaking. Flagships chipsets, 8-12GB RAM etc is pretty pointless for this type of use.

I just checked the top 100 list of popular free apps in google play. First at 67th place did a game of somewhat graphics level show up, Subway surfers, and it can easily run on much more basic chipsets than this. Even PUBG on HD settings runs fine on SD730. Not that this is a phone directed at gamers. There are very different phones directed at those users.

uk7866, 14 Nov 2019Took 4 years. Yet the processor would still be whack 4 years ago! They started with the top processor with the first prototype 4 years ago. Then they forgot their new process also aged along with the development of the final device. Lol.

they spent all that time talking about how it folds. they never mentioned the specs, cpu, ram, or camera.

Like the design and innovation... But, anything moving in a phone, is gonna cause trouble in the long run.

I do like that 21:9 screen, perfect for some cinematic movie moments.

Not a fan of the current foldable phones but this one actually looks cool AND usable!
