[deleted post]Agreed, APPLE dominance is too strong there. Locked down market is worth less than what one should be.And their goverment seen as almost near ultra nationalist level by others means harder for outsider to get same treatment like national companies

2 weeks? Just forget it and SERIOUSLY built your own OS, and perfected HMS to replace google gms (gapps). Built your own manufacture line. You can use china as yesting ground for few years while lobying EU and invading Africans. China already has stroong position on SEA, will be your 2nd testing ground. Alot of china trade tax waived/reduced in indonesia as proof, and we are 10% china mixed bloods and same ount on goverment positions

Google has weakness, about privacy and problem with europeen antitrust. Huawei should take this as a opportunity, offer a secure OS and beat Google at his own game. But Huawei need europeen partner, they should open a office there to work on this OS.

Here in the Philippines the Mate 30 / Mate 30 pro has very bad sales, knowing that it has lack of google play services. yes they try to educate people how to sideload it, but non-techie individuals don't want to deal with that hassle and the sideload of google play services fails the safety net anyways.. so yeah.

Please Huawei, install Harmony OS into your phones. If its fine for the chinese then it will be fine for the rest of the world. Be confident of your own OS.The world is still rotating before IOS & Android was born. Many people are fed up with the American spying.

Anonymous, 16 Nov 2019Excess of everything is bad. By banning huawei, US is limit... moreU.S. suppliers of equipment and such to Huawei do so to the tune of 11 billion annually. That's not money they are willing to lose, especially when the U.S. government has yet to provide any evidence of Huawei spying.
