People just go off on a tangent after reading screen sizes without taking into account the actual footprint of the phone.

I'll rather have a phone which has all the tools and features and lasts me long enough(build quality). Official OS updates are extremely overrated. It only gives you bragging RIGHTS, nothing more and creates a good image for the OEM.

I didn't say android users were missing out on features, I just mentioned the life cycle.
It means the device is usable for a longer period, if you want to be a little greener and not buy a new device every year or 2, but it all depends on what is important to you, features or life cycle of devices

Even 5 year old Android have features that don't exist on current iOS firmware.
iOS gets features which already exist on Android.
Even pixel phones are simply incorporating features ported from Miui, Samsung (split screen multitasking), oxygen OS, lineage OS, other Android skins in their latest updates. So Android users are really missing out on nothing.

(The one saying that it might be 9into1 formula, to make 12 MP images, since 12x9=108MP)

I have a strong feeling that S11 will focus on "9 pixels into 1" formula...
which means the 108MP camera will churn out... yes, 12 Megapixel Photos, which are pixel perfect.
12x9 = 108.
Anyone else feels the same way? Because for most clicks, 12 MP is still enough by today's standards..

Sales went down? From 72 Mil units all the way down to 75 Mil units for Q2 and even below the 78 Mil for Q3? That is a pretty darn decline in their sales(!)

The ... moreYou mean widest aperture, not lowest.
F stops as fast as 1.4-2.8 etc are fast or wide, and down to f 12- 14 or so is narrow
I would love a phone with real variable aperture like Samsung but on a wider scale

If you don't like a product there's no need to be aggressive, iPhone are still incredibly popular and deservedly so, they offer great update life cycles...I'm currently an Android user but I do wish Android would follow suit with how long they support devices , even pixel phones aren't supported as long as iPhones

The 108 Mp sensor is huge like the Mi Note 10 which effectively allows more clarity in images and light. Plus Samsung provides lowest aperture out there.

When they could've saved some pixels and just had 80MP overall resolution for the same sensor size (effectively a 20MP main, which is still high resolution), they chose to completely boggle down the low light performance for the sake of "slightly" better sharpness.
Their 1.4um pixel sensors aren't doing as well as similar sensors from their competitors, imagine how worse could their 0.8um pixel sensor get......
