this is cute, but if they're only barely outclassing the current generation, that means they'll be almost a whole generation behind in 2020 when the actual phone come out.

Secondly, majority of the consumers do not even bother about developer community

Does the Redmi note 8 pro(Mediatek chipset) has less developer community support compared to Redmi note 7 pro which sports Snapdragon chipset?

2. No... moreWot, mediatek gps is ALWAYS has better accuracy than any others, qualcomn maybe the worst, need special patch (especially on unoptimized room like miui, or poor pure android) get better than 5m accuracy and locking speed.
Gaming stop suck with g90t (mc4 cores, means 8 cores slightly inferior than 10 graphic core KIRIN 980) support 2133Mhz lpddr4 instead 1866MHz 730G use. I believe 730G is bandwith starving causing poor performance adreno 616

It's propably a testing board instead constrained in tiny case, but it also mostlikely alpha version experimental board to test firmware etc. stable version may get a lot of boost later, maybe on performance and / or power efficiency
It's on 36 celcius so I am sure it not umder loop water or worse, INDUSTRIAL TIER CHILLLER *cough intel cough* so all is good

Well acutly with the last vers on antutu my iphone 11 pro not max not 11 simple scores 539260 with multipe runs the score avrage about 539000....so close enough tho....P.S: Dear Gsmarena run again the antutu test with last ios and last vers of antutu....
